Plastic bags blowing in the wind attached to sage brush and fences is a
common sight in the community, but the City of West Wendover wants to
change that.
To encourage the community to switch from
using plastic bags to reusable bags, the City will be giving one free
Smith’s reusable shopping bag to each of the first 400 customers who pay
their water bill in May.

Puppies Need Homes There are still a few dogs hoping for a new home at the West Wendover Dog Pound. If you are looking for a good companion for your family, or a watch dog, please make sure to visit the pound. According to West Wendover Animal Control Officer, Alex Peterson, there is currently a hound puppy that was just brought in a couple days ago, that he would like to find a good home for.
