Bonneville 100 Runs Saturday

On Saturday, June 21st, the Bonneville 100 Open Road Race will start in West Wendover and run south on Alternate 93. Cars participating in the race will run up to 200 mph.

MKM Promotions runs the event each year which is sponsored by the Wendover Nugget and the City. They are offering $65 cash for anyone who wants to volunteer to be a course control official. For more info, contact the West Wendover Tourism Center at 664-3138.

The highway will be closed to traffic during the race on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
